Historical Tour of the Westmann Islands
Eagle Air offers daily tours to the Westmann Islands.
Westman Islands is one of the wonders of nature, surrounded by mountains, islands, volcanoes and seabirds.
A 20 minute´s flight from Reykjavík domestic airport takes you to the archipelago of the Westmann Islands. Upon arrival, you´ll embark on a guided coach tour of the island, which includes volcanic crater, still-warm lava and half-buried houses from the island´s infamous 1973 volcanic eruption. Optional boat tour that circles the island of Heimaey is available. On the boat tour passengers can see various caves, witness birdlife and observe whales. Return to Reykjavik in the late afternoon.

Northern Lights Hunt on sea with Special Tours
Special Tours offers you to join a Northern Lights hunt out on the North Atlantic Ocean, from Reykjavik´s Old Harbour. This tour is operated from 01 October – 31 March, on Thursday and Saturday nights at 21.00 and other nights upon request.
It takes about half an hour to reach an area sufficiently remote from the city lights, though the exact location will vary given the weather conditions. This might be out in the middle of Faxaflói bay in whale territory, or farther north in Hvalfjörður fjord where there might be more shelter from the wind and waves.. Expert guide will tell you all about the northern lights, the folklore and superstition, as well as explaining the underlying scientific facts that make this magical light show possible. Puffin Watching Tours

Reykjavík Bike Tours offers a Classical Reykjavík Bike tour, which usually includes but is not limited to: Reykjavik's south facing beach - Ægissíða, University of Iceland campus, Harpa concert hall, Nordic House, Reykjavik's Catholic cathedral, Parliament building, Reykjavik's Old Harbour, Tjörnin (city lake) and the city centre. This tour is available every day in summer at 10:00. The Classic Reykjavik Bike Tour is easy (2.5 hrs. / 7 km) and is suitable for children from 10 years old. Private tours for groups and families with children of all ages are available all year.

Riding tours
The Icelandic horse is a special breed that came to Iceland with the first settlers in the 9th century. Icelandic law prevents horses from being imported into the country so the Icelandic breed has remained unchanged for centuries. This long-lived breed,is hardy and easy to ride.
Horse riding tours can be combined with Golden Circle tours, Blue Lagoon tours or just a tour on its own.
Horse riding tours of 1-2 hours, or half day tours are available all year round.

The catch is normally very good and the most commonly caught fish on our tours are cod, haddock, pollock and catfish.

The various types of whales commonly sighted include minke whales, harbor porpoises, white beaked dolphins and the popular humpback whales. Sea birds such as gannets, puffins, guillemots, cormorants, gulls, kittiwakes, arctic terns, and many more are also a common sight. The tour passes several islands inhabited by colonies of puffin.

Whale Watching Húsavík and Lake Myvatn
Morning flight from Reykjavík domestic airport to Húsavík. An English speaking guide will take you around Húsavík before going to the whale museum. After lunch (not included) you will embark on an exciting three-hour whale watching tour.
You will experience the original Húsavík whale watching tour that has given the town its reputation as Europe´s whale watching capital. Enjoy seeing the magnificent wildlife and stunning scenery aboard a renovated traditional oak fishing boat. The boats are all specially equipped and fulfill all requirements for whale watching.
After the boat tour, visit of Lake Myvatn area. At the end of the tour it is possible to relax in the nature baths of Lake Myvatn. Return to Reykjavík in the late afternoon.
